Dawes Recognized for Safety, Wins Multiple Awards from SC&RA

June 19, 2017

Dawes Rigging & Crane Rental, Inc., a Wisconsin member of the ALL Family of Companies, was honored with several awards by the Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association (SC&RA) at the association's Annual Conference in April.

Brad Freckmann (pictured bottom left) was one of only 29 certified crane operators from just eight companies to receive the Crane Operator Safety Award for 10,000 consecutive man-hours with zero recordable incidents or accidents. "This is an impressive accomplishment and is deserving of industry recognition," said Beth O'Quinn, Vice President of SC&RA.

DST, a trucking division of Dawes Rigging & Crane Rental, earned two safety awards. Pictured top left, Kyle Emon (Dawes EHS Manager) holds the Transportation Zero Accidents Award. Transporation Manager Wayne Kokta (center) and Operations Manager Mike Kozak (top right) hold the award for Fleet Safety, Transportation Mileage Category for having the lowest accident frequency rate in the mileage category 1.5 Million - 5 Million Miles

Dawes' General Manager, Steve Freckmann, says, "We are honored by SC&RA's recognition of our safety efforts. We congratulate our employees and thank them for their dedication to the safe operation of their machines and their unwavering support of our corporate safety program."
