The new TMS9000E has a 36-142 ft (11.2 m-43.3 m), 5-section full power boom and a 33-56 ft (10-17 m) bi-fold lattice swingaway extension, with optional lattice insert extensions for a 237 ft (72.2 m) maximum tip height. The new TMS9000E offers a 23% increase in overall capacities compared with Grove's previous model.

The versatility of the new TMS9000E is going to have an immediate impact on our truck crane fleet. The 9000's on-the-road capabilities, plus its higher capacity, bridge the gap between truck and AT cranes. The complete purchase package included (1) GMK7550 (550 USt/450 mt), Grove's largest AT crane; (1) GMK5225 (225 USt/170 mt), featuring a 6-section, 45-210-foot full power boom, the longest in its class; (1) GMK6250L (250 USt/227 mt) with a long 51-236-foot main boom; and (2) of the new hydraulic truck-mounted TMS9000E (110 USt/90 mt).
